Rawasheen
Valley

A valley carved in light.

The Idea

An old city,
carved into a new valley.

Rawasheen Valley is a heritage destination drawn in the language of old Jeddah — carved walnut rawasheen screens, sun-warmed limestone, courtyards that breathe at dusk. A boutique hotel. A fountain plaza. Courtyards and craft. All set against a quiet Saudi mountain backdrop.

A project by the makers of A Desert Princess.

A lantern-lit café entry beside a jacaranda in bloom at dawn — the Rawasheen Valley plaza in soft warm light.

A jacaranda morning, lantern still warm.

What Awaits

Three doors,
one valley.

Limestone Hejazi-revival boutique hotel facade at sunset, with carved walnut mashrabiya balconies and pointed-arch portal.
Chapter I

Stay

A boutique hotel, hand-built in limestone and walnut, with mashrabiya balconies that catch the last of the sun.

A circular fountain at the centre of a Hejazi plaza at golden hour, surrounded by mashrabiya-screened restaurants and Saudi guests.
Chapter II

Gather

A central plaza, a fountain, courtyards of dining under jacaranda. Lit by lanterns from the moment the heat lifts.

A potter at the wheel inside an artisan workshop, with traditional crafts shopfronts in soft golden-hour light.
Chapter III

Make

A village of craft. Pottery, weaving, carving — the hands that built old Jeddah, kept alive on the wheel.

“Step out of the heat into a lantern-lit courtyard.”
